Stock photos are a great way for bloggers to keep a readers interest. Bloggers know that by inserting a stock photo into the content of your blog helps draw the reader into your message. Finding good, quality stock photos that aren’t copyrighted can sometimes be difficult and expensive. There are lots of good paid stock photo sites out there and one of my favorites is www.istockphoto.com
I recently stumbled upon a project called Death to the Stock Photo. Once a month you’ll get sent to your email inbox free, yes totally free, high-res lifestyle photography to to do whatever you please. For your blog, social channels, mockups or even to hang on your wall if you’re so inclined. The project was founded by Allie Lehman and David Sherry.
I am very impressed with the photos Allie and David sent me and I am sure you will too. Thanks Allie and David for launching a great project that blog writers the world over can use to make their blogs better.
